James (Jim) Hunt’s 41+ years of marine and container intermodal infrastructure experience includes comprehensive planning and management from conceptual development to final design. He has worked with a wide range of port authorities, terminal operators and shipping lines worldwide.
Jim’s principal expertise lies in understanding the infrastructure and operational requirements needed to effectively plan for the expansion and/or redevelopment of marine industrial complexes. His experience covers all aspects of port and freight-related projects with focus on the financial and technical issues surrounding port development.
He has been instrumental in moving sensitive projects to completion, requiring detailed knowledge of complex engineering requirements and pertinent environmental issues along with the attendant economic, social and political concerns.
